Thinai Sweet Pongal is a delicious South Indian dish

Ingredients

  • Thinai – 1/2 cup
  • Water– 1.1/2 cup
  • Jaggery – 1 cup
  • Cashew
  • Elachi
  • Ghee

Steps

  1. Take Thinai ½ cup ( no need to soak)
  2. Add  1.1/2 cups of water
  3. Mix Thinai with water and pressure cook for 5 whistles
  4. Add the cooked Thinai and Jaggery to a pan
  5. Keep cooking till the right consistency
  6. Garnish with Cashew, Elachi and Ghee

Prep Time - 20 mins

Cook Time - 10 mins
