Karuppu Kavuni Porridge


Black Rice Porridge is one of the most nutritious and filling porridge recipes.


  • Karuppu Kavuni Rice - 1 cup
  • Milk as required
  • Salt to taste
    For Garnishing:
  • Small onions
  • Coconut chutney


  1. Soak the Karuppu Kavuni rice for 6-8 hours overnight
  2. Strain the rice and grind it in the Mixie coarsely
  3. Cook the grounded rice along with water as needed
  4. At the last stage, add milk and salt to taste
  5. Serve it hot with small onions and coconut chutney
