Jowar Roti


Jolada rotti is an unleavened Indian bread made out of jowar.


  • Jowar flour
  • Veggies as much as you want (onion, capsicum, carrot, cabbage)
  • Seeragam
  • Crushed green chillies
  • Chana dal (Kadala Paruppu)
  • Salt


  1. Make dough by adding water.
    Note: vegetables will ooze some water, so alter water accordingly.
  2. Place a ball of dough on a wet cloth on the counter/flat plate/board, pat it (not rolling pin) to required thickness and then fry it in hot oil.
  3. Serve with any chutney or sauce.

Prep Time - 10 mins

Cook Time - 20 mins
