Ragi Kaara Kozhukattai
Delicious, as well soft kozhukattai suitable for a healthy breakfast
Ingredients

Ragi Flour – 1 cup
- Moong Dal – ¼ cup
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Hot water – ½ cup
- Salt to taste

Oil – 2 tsp
For Tempering - Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
- Broken Ural Dal – 1tsp
- Channa Dal – 1 tsp
- Onion – 1 chopped
- Green Chilli – 2 chopped
- Curry leaves and Coriander – 1 tbsp.
- Coconut shredded
Steps
- In a pan, add Ragi flour and fry for 2 mins till aroma arises.
- Add ghee and moong dal and mix well.
- Sprinkle little water and steam it for 10 mins.
- Now allow to cool and keep aside.
- Saute all the ingredients given under for tempering .
- Now mix with Ragi and mix well.
- Make shape of Pidi Kozhukattai and steam for 10 mins.
- Ragi Kara Kozhukattai is ready.
